Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in London held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Nimbus by Paul Landacre. The price achieved of USD 2,304.00 (€ 2,180.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Landacre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Press in August this year with an auction result of USD 25,200.00 (€ 23,249.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nimbus von Paul Landacre zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.304,00 (€ 2.180,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Landacre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Press im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 23.249,38).
