In October 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Metropolis by Paul Citroen. The »bidding war« ended at USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,752.21), 42% above the upper estimate. Other works by Paul Citroen have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 36,250.00 in December 2007 for the work Composition.

Im Oktober 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Metropolis von Paul Citroen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.752,21) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Paul Citroen haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 36.250,00 im Dezember 2007 für die Arbeit Composition beobachtet.
