The work A wooded river landscape, with figures on a boat, a bridge and a village beyond by Patrick Nasmyth was sold in the Old Masters & British Paintings auction at Christies in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,672.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick Nasmyth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A view near Woburn, Bedfordshire in September 2010 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 43,083.58).

Die Arbeit A wooded river landscape, with figures on a boat, a bridge and a village beyond von Patrick Nasmyth wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Old Masters & British Paintings bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.672,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
