Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & British Paintings, which included the work A View near East Grinstead by Patrick Nasmyth. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,774.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Patrick Nasmyth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A view near Woburn, Bedfordshire, which sold at auction in September 2010 for GBP 37,250.00 (€ 43,083.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A View near East Grinstead von Patrick Nasmyth zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.774,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Patrick Nasmyth mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A view near Woburn, Bedfordshire beobachtet, die im September 2010 für GBP 37.250,00 (€ 43.083,58) versteigert wurde.
