It achieved a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,501.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Patrick Lichfield; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mick & Bianca Jagger After Their Wedding, Saint Tropez, France, 1971 sold at auction in March 2016 with the realized price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,680.37).

Die Arbeit Paul & Talitha Getty, Marrakech, January 1967 von Patrick Lichfield kam im September 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.501,09) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%.
