In November 2017 Sothebys in Dubai held the auction Boundless: Dubai, which included the work British paul And Talitha Getty, Marrakech by Patrick Lichfield. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,879.48), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Patrick Lichfield; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mick & Bianca Jagger After Their Wedding, Saint Tropez, France, 1971 sold at auction in March 2016 with the realized price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,680.37).
