Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction The Male Form, which included the work Bound Figure by Patrick Hennessy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,159.98), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Patrick Hennessy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-Portrait in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,693.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Male Form durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bound Figure von Patrick Hennessy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.159,98) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick Hennessy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-Portrait im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.693,86).
