Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Windy Brow, Lisburn, Northern Ireland by Patrick Hennessy. It changed hands for a price of GBP 750.00 (€ 808.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Hennessy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Portrait in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,693.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Windy Brow, Lisburn, Northern Ireland von Patrick Hennessy zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 808,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Hennessy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-Portrait im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.693,86).
