Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Christian Dior Haute Couture by Patrick Demarchelier was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,350.00 (€ 6,008.71). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Demarchelier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christy Turlington, New York, 1990 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 138,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Christian Dior Haute Couture von Patrick Demarchelier kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.350,00 (€ 6.008,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Demarchelier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christy Turlington, New York, 1990 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 138.600,00.
