Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Cindy, New York by Patrick Demarchelier. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 10,160.00 (€ 11,821.23). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Demarchelier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christy Turlington, New York, 1990 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 138,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cindy, New York von Patrick Demarchelier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 10.160,00 (€ 11.821,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Demarchelier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christy Turlington, New York, 1990 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 138.600,00.
