Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Wind by Pat Andrea was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2002. The price achieved of EUR 7,170.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pat Andrea - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tajine, (Diptyque), 1990, which sold at auction in December 2012 for EUR 21,880.00.

Die Arbeit The Wind von Pat Andrea kam im Dezember 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.170,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pat Andrea mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tajine, (Diptyque), 1990 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2012 für EUR 21.880,00 versteigert wurde.
