In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction Important Old Master Pictures, which included the work The Holy Family With Saint John The Baptist In An Extensive Landscape by Paris Bordone. The price achieved of GBP 456,000.00 (€ 667,530.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Other works by Paris Bordone have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2008 the work Portrait Of A Lady, Traditionally Believed To Be Of The Fugger Family, Standing Three-Quarter Length Within A Palace Interior, Wearing A Crimson Satin Dress And Holding A Prayer-Book In Her Right Hand was auctioned for GBP 914,850.00 (€ 1,162,327.22).
