Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Jeffrey E. Horvitz Collection of Italian Drawings, which included the work The Holy Family With St Anne And The Infant St John The Baptist by Paolo Farinati. The price achieved of USD 43,000.00 (€ 28,973.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paolo Farinati - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ecce Homo, which sold at auction in July 2006 for GBP 54,000.00 (€ 79,049.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The Jeffrey E. Horvitz Collection of Italian Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Holy Family With St Anne And The Infant St John The Baptist von Paolo Farinati zur Versteigerung kam.
