Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pan Yuliang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in January 2014. In the Boundless: Contemporary Art auction, the work Nude With A Cat sold for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,311.11) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pan Yuliang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady Bathers At The Seashore in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 17,400,000.00 (€ 1,988,794.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pan Yuliang erzielte im Januar 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Nude With A Cat für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.311,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pan Yuliang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady Bathers At The Seashore im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.400.000,00 (€ 1.988.794,26).
