Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Reclining Nude by Pan Yuliang. The price achieved of HKD 56,640.00 (€ 6,426.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pan Yuliang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady Bathers At The Seashore in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 17,400,000.00 (€ 1,988,794.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reclining Nude von Pan Yuliang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.640,00 (€ 6.426,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pan Yuliang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady Bathers At The Seashore im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.400.000,00 (€ 1.988.794,26).
