Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lilacs by Pan Yuliang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 5,000,000.00 (€ 527,391.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 4,000,000.00 – 6,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pan Yuliang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lady Bathers At The Seashore, which sold at auction in October 2019 for HKD 17,400,000.00 (€ 1,988,794.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lilacs von Pan Yuliang kam im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 5.000.000,00 (€ 527.391,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 4.000.000,00 – 6.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pan Yuliang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lady Bathers At The Seashore beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für HKD 17.400.000,00 (€ 1.988.794,26) versteigert wurde.
