In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work "Because they tried to bore holes in my greatest and most beautiful work” (Relief of Hardship and Troubles) sold for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 45,012.24) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pamela Rosenkranz; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Because They Try To Bore Holes In My Greatest And Most Beautiful Work (Relief Of Avarice) sold at auction in February 2016 with the realized price of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 54,458.50).
