Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Le Picador by Pablo Picasso. The price achieved of GBP 22,100.00 (€ 28,905.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Picador von Pablo Picasso zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.100,00 (€ 28.905,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
