This artwork by Otto Dix achieved an unexpectedly high price at Grisebach in June 2013. In the Auktionen 207-214 - Third Floor - Schätzwerte bis EUR 3.000 auction, the work „Ecce Homo“. sold for EUR 1,586.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Dix achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sitzender Akt Mit Blondem Haar (Seated Nude With Blond Hair) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 3,513,250.00 (€ 4,350,239.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto Dix erzielte im Juni 2013 bei Grisebach einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Auktionen 207-214 - Third Floor - Schätzwerte bis EUR 3.000 wurde die Arbeit „Ecce Homo“. für EUR 1.586,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Dix erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sitzender Akt Mit Blondem Haar (Seated Nude With Blond Hair) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.513.250,00 (€ 4.350.239,94).
