It achieved a price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,627.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Admittedly, works by Oswaldo Guayasamin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Quito en rojo in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 218,767.39).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Portrait Of A Lady) von Oswaldo Guayasamin wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online: NYC bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.627,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oswaldo Guayasamin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Quito en rojo im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 218.767,39).
