In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Concentric Group: Figure Plan K1 (Konzentrische Gruppe: Figurenplan K) from the portfolio New European Graphics, 1st Portfolio: Masters of the State Bauhaus, Weimar (Neue europäische Graphik, 1. Mappe: Meister des Staatlichen Bauhauses in Weimar) by Oskar Schlemmer for USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,706.52). This price was achieved in the auction The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples at Christies Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oskar Schlemmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tischgesellschaft (Group At Table) in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 2,595,000.00 (€ 3,027,157.92).

Mappe: Meister des Staatlichen Bauhauses in Weimar) von Oskar Schlemmer für USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.706,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oskar Schlemmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tischgesellschaft (Group At Table) im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.595.000,00 (€ 3.027.157,92).
