Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two works: (i) (ii) I Can't See (Papercrete Edition) by Oscar Tuazon was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in March 2017. The price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,451.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Oscar Tuazon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 58,188.25).

Die Arbeit Two works: (i) (ii) I Can't See (Papercrete Edition) von Oscar Tuazon wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.451,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oscar Tuazon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 58.188,25).
