A top price for Oscar Tuazon - as previously expected
This work without title by Oscar Tuazon was sold in the Contemporary Art and Design Evening Sale auction at Phillips in New York in March 2015. The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 58,188.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Oscar Tuazon that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Oscar Tuazon wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Art and Design Evening Sale bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 58.188,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Oscar Tuazon, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
