Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2020 Phillips in Online Auction held the auction Shaping the Surface: Online Auction, which included the work I Can't See (Papercrete Edition) by Oscar Tuazon. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,775.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oscar Tuazon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 58,188.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2020 führte Phillips in Online Auction die Auktion Shaping the Surface: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit I Can't See (Papercrete Edition) von Oscar Tuazon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.775,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oscar Tuazon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 58.188,25).
