Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Curtain Wall by Oscar Tuazon was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2021. The price achieved of USD 15,120.00 (€ 13,359.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Oscar Tuazon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 58,188.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Curtain Wall von Oscar Tuazon kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 13.359,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oscar Tuazon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 58.188,25).
