Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled 12 from Blow Up by Ori Gersht was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in September 2020. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,566.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ori Gersht - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled 5 from Blow Up, which sold at auction in October 2021 for USD 107,100.00 (€ 92,711.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled 12 from Blow Up von Ori Gersht wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.566,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ori Gersht mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled 5 from Blow Up beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für USD 107.100,00 (€ 92.711,22) versteigert wurde.
