Auction result well in line with expectations
The work S/Velare Piero, Sandro, Giovanni by Omar Galliani was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Sothebys in Milan in May 2012. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Omar Galliani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Oltremare (Overseas), which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 14,647.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit S/Velare Piero, Sandro, Giovanni von Omar Galliani wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Omar Galliani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Oltremare (Overseas) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 10.200,00 (€ 14.647,87) versteigert wurde.
