The work Le ciglia del naufragio by Omar Galliani was auctioned at Il Ponte in May this year. It achieved a price of EUR 1,800.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50 %. Admittedly, works by Omar Galliani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Oltremare (Overseas) in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 14,647.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le ciglia del naufragio von Omar Galliani kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.800,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Omar Galliani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Oltremare (Overseas) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 14.647,87).
