Sold at the lower estimate price
In May this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Patmos by Omar Galliani. The result of EUR 800.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Omar Galliani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Oltremare (Overseas) in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 14,647.87).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Patmos von Omar Galliani zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 800,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Omar Galliani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Oltremare (Overseas) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 14.647,87).
