Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Un mantra segno by Omar Galliani was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art | Silver and Decorative Objects auction at Il Ponte in December 2013. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,000.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,500.00 – 7,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Omar Galliani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Oltremare (Overseas), which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 14,647.87).

Die Arbeit Un mantra segno von Omar Galliani wurde im Dezember 2013 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art | Silver and Decorative Objects bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.000,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.500,00 – 7.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Omar Galliani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Oltremare (Overseas) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 10.200,00 (€ 14.647,87) versteigert wurde.
