In the Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Ancient Sea, Nautilus changed hands for USD 1,024.00 (€ 967.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Other works by Mayumi Oda have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2006 by the work Gurdian [Guardian of The Sea. Mother Pearl/Gurdian of The Sea. Conch Blower, 1998|AID794983] at USD 2,160.00 (€ 1,779.39).
