Goddess of Earth with edition number 40/50 and signature Mayumi in Roman and Oda in katakana script along the bottom margin in pencil 92cm x 62cm (36¼in x 24 7/16in); the second titled Treasure Ship. Snow Goddess, with edition number 32/50 and signature Mayumi in Roman and Oda in katakana script along the bottom margin in pencil, 84cm x 61cm (33 1/16in x 24in). (2).

The price achieved of GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,329.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Mayumi Oda have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2006 the work Gurdian [Guardian of The Sea. Mother Pearl/Gurdian of The Sea. Conch Blower, 1998|AID794983] was auctioned for USD 2,160.00 (€ 1,779.39).
