In January 2024 Bonhams in Skinner Boston held the auction Prints & Photographs, which included the work Birmingham Special, Rural Retreat, Virginia by Ogle Winston Link. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,304.00 (€ 2,013.63), 54% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ogle Winston Link achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected images, 1955-1958 in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 33,735.92).

Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Skinner Boston die Auktion Prints & Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Birmingham Special, Rural Retreat, Virginia von Ogle Winston Link zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.304,00 (€ 2.013,63) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ogle Winston Link erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected images, 1955-1958 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 33.735,92).
