Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction, which included the work Do, Do, Do by Nyoman Masriadi. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 882,000.00 (€ 95,808.07). Admittedly, works by Nyoman Masriadi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Man From Bantul (The Final Round) in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 7,820,000.00 (€ 795,442.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Do, Do, Do von Nyoman Masriadi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 882.000,00 (€ 95.808,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nyoman Masriadi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Man From Bantul (The Final Round) im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.820.000,00 (€ 795.442,36).
