In April 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work The Tropics Of South America by Norton Bush. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,917.94) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Norton Bush have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2009 the work Vista Del Popocatepetl Desde Cholula was auctioned for USD 50,000.00 (€ 33,346.67).

Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Tropics Of South America von Norton Bush zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.917,94) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Norton Bush konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2009 die Arbeit Vista Del Popocatepetl Desde Cholula für USD 50.000,00 (€ 33.346,67) versteigert.
