The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,200.00 (€ 9,880.85), 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Norton Bush - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vista Del Popocatepetl Desde Cholula, which sold at auction in November 2009 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 33,346.67).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 9.880,85) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Norton Bush mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vista Del Popocatepetl Desde Cholula beobachtet, die im November 2009 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 33.346,67) versteigert wurde.
