Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mountain Landscape with Church by Norton Bush was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,295.00 (€ 1,944.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norton Bush achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vista Del Popocatepetl Desde Cholula in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 33,346.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mountain Landscape with Church von Norton Bush wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.295,00 (€ 1.944,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Norton Bush erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vista Del Popocatepetl Desde Cholula im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 33.346,67).
