A top price for Norton Bush - as previously expected
In November 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Vista Del Popocatepetl Desde Cholula by Norton Bush. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 33,346.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Vista Del Popocatepetl Desde Cholula is the most expensive artwork by Norton Bush that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vista Del Popocatepetl Desde Cholula von Norton Bush zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 33.346,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Vista Del Popocatepetl Desde Cholula das teuerste Kunstwerk von Norton Bush, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
