The work Tropical river with hanging vines by Norton Bush was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August last year. It achieved a price of USD 10,200.00 (€ 10,134.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Norton Bush - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vista Del Popocatepetl Desde Cholula, which sold at auction in November 2009 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 33,346.67).

Die Arbeit Tropical river with hanging vines von Norton Bush wurde im August letzten Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 10.134,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Für andere Arbeiten von Norton Bush mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vista Del Popocatepetl Desde Cholula beobachtet, die im November 2009 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 33.346,67) versteigert wurde.
