Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Norman Hepple could be acquired at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British & Irish Art auction, the work Standing Female Nude changed hands for GBP 660.00 (€ 971.44) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Norman Hepple have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nothing Like Sand And Water in October 2004 with an auction result of GBP 4,780.00 (€ 6,879.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Norman Hepple konnte im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art wechselte die Arbeit Standing Female Nude für GBP 660,00 (€ 971,44) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Norman Hepple auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nothing Like Sand And Water im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.780,00 (€ 6.879,73).
