Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures by the sea (The Artist's family) by Norman Hepple was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2012. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,985.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Norman Hepple - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nothing Like Sand And Water, which sold at auction in October 2004 for GBP 4,780.00 (€ 6,879.73).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.985,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Norman Hepple mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nothing Like Sand And Water beobachtet, die im Oktober 2004 für GBP 4.780,00 (€ 6.879,73) versteigert wurde.
