The work Nothing Like Sand And Water by Norman Hepple was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2004. The price achieved of GBP 4,780.00 (€ 6,879.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Nothing Like Sand And Water is the most expensive artwork by Norman Hepple that we have observed at auctions so far.
