Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Il Rendetore by Norman Hepple was sold in the 20TH C BRIT ART INC. WORKS FROM THE STUDIO OF HILDA CARLINE auction at Christies in London in October 2003. It changed hands for a price of GBP 564.00 (€ 823.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Norman Hepple have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nothing Like Sand And Water in October 2004 with an auction result of GBP 4,780.00 (€ 6,879.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Il Rendetore von Norman Hepple wurde im Oktober 2003 in der Auktion 20TH C BRIT ART INC. WORKS FROM THE STUDIO OF HILDA CARLINE bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 564,00 (€ 823,77) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Norman Hepple auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nothing Like Sand And Water im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.780,00 (€ 6.879,73).
