The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 8,400.00 (€ 4,938.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Noel McKenna have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2020 the work Green Door, Merrylands, 2005 was auctioned for AUD 9,760.00 (€ 8,289.45).
