Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work PHASE OF NOTHINGNESS —FROM PYRAMID TO PYRAMID by Nobuo Sekine. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,409.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nobuo Sekine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 314,320.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit PHASE OF NOTHINGNESS —FROM PYRAMID TO PYRAMID von Nobuo Sekine zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.409,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nobuo Sekine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 314.320,93).
