Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Phase Conception No. G10-266 by Nobuo Sekine was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,291.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nobuo Sekine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 314,320.93).
