Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A CERTAIN LIFE by Nobuo Sekine was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 12,845.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nobuo Sekine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 314,320.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A CERTAIN LIFE von Nobuo Sekine kam im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 12.845,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nobuo Sekine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 314.320,93).
