Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Senza titolo by Nino Franchina was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,300.00 – 1,600.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Nino Franchina have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Piccola Astrairon in May 2012 with an auction result of EUR 11,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Senza titolo von Nino Franchina im Dezember 2015 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.300,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.200,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nino Franchina auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Piccola Astrairon im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.875,00.
