Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chiodi by Nino Franchina was sold in the Post War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in May 2008. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,640.00 21% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nino Franchina - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Piccola Astrairon, which sold at auction in May 2012 for EUR 11,875.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chiodi von Nino Franchina wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.640,00 und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Nino Franchina mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Piccola Astrairon beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für EUR 11.875,00 versteigert wurde.
