This artwork by Nina Tryggvadóttir achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2011. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 10,455.50) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nina Tryggvadóttir; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Gouache No. 21 sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of GBP 9,750.00 (€ 12,402.43).

In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 10.455,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nina Tryggvadóttir; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Gouache No. 21 im Mai 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 9.750,00 (€ 12.402,43).
